FAMILIARIZE WITH YOUR BUY AND SELL ORDERS
For demo purposes I will be using COL Financial platform and almost all brokers will have the same feature as they only differ on user interface depending on their developer.
Online brokers will have the same functionality in terms of Main board, Odd lot, GTC etc so don't worry as some may be termed as Normal instead of "main".
Here's a sample of the buy and sell order from COL
➤stick with the Main board and not on Oddlot
➤use only Oddlot for stock dividends you received that does not fall under boardlot size (refer to table here).
➤GTC (Good til canceled) varies per broker, you may send orders under GTC that is good for a week, a month or year
➤ATC (At the close) your open orders will be sent for execution during run-off (check trading hours)

CANCEL OPEN ORDERS DURING TRADING HOURS
There are no fees when you cancel your open orders so you can shift to other stocks of your choice if needed.you may go back to your Market orders and select stock you wish to cancel.
❤ you may go back to your Market Orders and select stock you wish to cancel as long "unmatched" from buy or sell.
❤ if partially filled then unfilled shares will be allowed to be canceled.
Now go ahead and try to navigate to your online platform and try to practice your buy and sell orders.
