Online Brokers

Every trader has his own experience for every broker and every single second counts for every orders you make. That is why "speed" in executing your trades is a key factor that your broker should be capable of.

It's up to you to decide which broker you will be using as I will just share my experience using these brokers, but some traders are rooting for Timson Securities make sure to meet their minimum investment amount.

Try to check also AAA Equities they have this so called "Conditional Orders" that you can set your CL and buy orders on breakouts which is quite convenient as you don't miss out opportunities even you're not in front of your computer or mobile.

COL FINANCIAL
➤user friendly and easy to navigate, while some traders complain about its old Web UI or how it looks while for me I have no issues on its interface.
➤there where "lag issues" encountered during a rally of one of the 3rd telco bidders which I was not able to execute my trades and miss out the opportunity to make profit but found out a way if issues like this would arise.
➤delay from market prices from their quotes and I am sure I had a good connection to the internet that is why it is best to always plan ahead of time and have a watch lists to not miss out opportunities.
➤built in chart tools for me is not so nice, I don't know but I prefer charts powered from trading view.
➤until now their "lag issues" have not been resolved. lols

FIRSTMETROSEC
➤it has better charting tools than COL with its "trade calculator" for you to check possible profits and losses before you place an order.
➤Web UI is not that bad, simple and you can easily navigate and access your portfolio, orders, quotes and needed data.
➤iceberg feature for buy/sell orders which is an advantage if you have a bigger account size so your orders can be sold at a smaller lot size without causing panic to retails when you sell
➤the buy and sell confirmation from one page to another would be quite annoying specially when you are haggling with the market, I prefer COL for that part.
➤I experienced some lag issues during the "web" serye that I can't execute an order.

They have improved from their old Web UI above and I like it better, I just hope they include a list of yearly ledger just like what COL has so we can track down the trade history made per year.
First Metro Sec new WEB UI

PHILSTOCKS
➤I prefer the first two in terms of UI as it may look too confusing at first since all the data is compacted in one page.
➤the "chupitero" calculator is nice for scalpers and day traders so as not have a hard time calculating for profits.
➤they provide technical guide with regards to buying and selling of a particular stock that is sent through email to their clients.
➤like firstmetrosec they have good charting tools powered by trading view, only downside prices are not sync with the current market price

BDO NOMURA
➤its paperless application stands out from above mentioned online brokers and linked to your online banking.
➤they have improved their UI from previous looks and looks better.
➤delay of OTP and slow connection to their trading platform is quite frustrating even if you have a good net connection.
➤you can't make a good trade when "speculative" stocks are at play can't even access the trading platform.

Whatever online broker you choose in the end, more important is for you to execute your orders according to your trade plans ahead of time that even if some issues arises from their end you have already placed your orders without the worry in missing out your chances either to get a position or sell with profit.
