What you need

COL_Financial
Here are the things you need to be able to start trading in STOCKS
1. ONLINE BROKER-you can check list of brokers in PSE, to name a few are listed below:
COL Financial
Firstmetrosec
Philstocks
➤BPI Securities
➤BDO Nomura
➤Timson
➤AAA Equities
➤Regina Capital

2. TIN NUMBER
➤Prepare any Utility Bills/ Bank/ Credit card statements for address verification purposes.

3. EXTRA/EXCESS FUNDS
*OFWs are welcome and foreigners residing in the country (valid IDs for verification if needed)

Once you have decided already on your Online broker, simply download and fill up the forms available at their respective websites then send to their office address and wait for approval.

Some brokers may require some initial interview online for additional verification so make sure to make the necessary schedule on your available time.

Brokers linked to local banks like BPI, Metrobank, BDO does not require any initial deposit unlike other brokers.

If you chose for "paperless" application then try BDO Nomura and simply wait for approval and added instructions on how to access your online trading account.

What's next after your approval from chosen broker?
After you get approved simply fund your Online account, either via OTC or Online transfer will do depending on your broker if it accepts online transfers.

Now while waiting for the funds to be credited, simply log in to your trading account, familiarize yourself on where to input your buy and sell orders, your remaining balance etc.

This is basic procedure you need to do in order to easily save time when you will be doing live trading so as not to waste time looking which button are you going to click to execute your orders.

NOTE:
Initial deposits on selected brokers can be used later on to purchase shares, so no need to worry if you are asking if that would be used as "maintaining balance" which is not the case.

You are free to use it all in buying shares in the market and you are not obliged to top up your balance unless you have some other stocks to buy and you need to refill your "Buying Power".

Hope you get the overall idea now so you can venture and start trading in the stock market. TAYOR!
