Stock Code

This is required for you to memorize as it will facilitate you in your trading particularly when you are scouting stocks through your chart.

These codes will be handy when you will be searching for some Disclosures / company announcements or news in edge.pse.com.ph

Always start with the so called "blue chips" which comprises of Top 30 companies that undergo semi-annual review from PSE if they met the benchmarks/parameters set to be included in the index.

Blue chips aside from being called as companies with proven track record through the test of times (Bear or Bull market) have also high volumes of trades making it liquid compared to "Penny" (basura) stocks.

They are for longer approach most likely by so called investors who can wait at least 10 to 30 years who believe that these are fundamentally sound investments.

WHERE TO APPLY SUCH CODES?

As I mentioned earlier it will save some time when you will be searching for companies you want to get some info regarding on announcements if they will be having new projects, news about dividends, change in par value etc.
